ORIENTAL MEETINGS IN SOSNOWIEC
(SOSNOWIECKIE SPOTKANIA ORIENTALISTYCZNE)
an interdisciplinary academic conference promoting intercultural dialogue, addressed to young scholars, including postgraduate and graduate students, whose research interests focus on the languages, literature and cultures of Oriental countries, especially Arabic-speaking (e.g., Lebanon, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia), Central Asian (e.g., Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan), South Asian (e.g., India, Nepal, and Pakistan) and East Asian (e.g., South Korea, China, and Japan and India) countries. The conference explores a broad spectrum of topics ranging from ancient civilizations to the present-day cultures and languages of these regions regarding their richness and diversity.
